Makefile rewrite: now filename agnostic, cleaner directory structure
I have rewritten the
~/examples/gain_example. It is now filename agnostic and can therefore be used for all current as well as future examples with minimal adjustments (only the executable name should be changed and any additionally needed libraries specified).
I've also reworked the directory structure for
gain_example, with the idea being that we can adapt this scheme for the other examples as well. All source files are now in a
src directory and all object files will be put in a
obj directory during compilation.
make clean then just removes
obj and the executable.
I believe this also allows us to make the
.gitignore less restrictive, so that
git add doesn't need to be forced and
git status actually delivers meaningful output.
